Kei Truck Auction Prices in Japan
Explore real sold prices for Honda Acty, Suzuki Carry, Daihatsu Hijet, Subaru Sambar and Mitsubishi Minicab trucks. Filter 1,948 records by make, chassis code, registration year, grade, odometer and transmission. Prices are Japanese auction results in yen; a truck delivered to the USA also carries auction and export fees, inland transport, ocean freight, U.S. customs duty and port charges.

Filter real kei truck sold prices
Start broad, then narrow by chassis, year, condition and odometer. Summary figures, the moving-average chart and the comparable-sales table update together.
The dataset is designed for monthly refreshes and a rolling 12-month history. The coverage shown always follows the dates actually present in the loaded records.
Showing all 1,948 records. The chart caps its visual scale near the 95th percentile so unusually high results do not flatten the typical market; capped points are colored gold and retain their exact value in the comparable-sales table.

How to read real kei truck price data
A sold price becomes useful only after the comparison is narrowed to trucks with similar identity, age, condition and mileage.
Begin with the chassis code. A model name can span several generations and mechanical layouts. Filtering Honda Acty results by HA4, HA6, HA7, HA8 or HA9 is more meaningful than comparing every Acty together. The same principle applies to Carry, Hijet, Sambar and Minicab codes.
Then control for registration year and odometer. Later trucks and low-mileage examples often command more, but age alone does not settle value. Long storage, corrosion, missing maintenance evidence or hard commercial use can make a lower-mileage truck the poorer buy.
Use grade as a condition signal. Grade 4 and better normally sits above grade 3 or repair-history stock, but grading is not perfectly interchangeable across individual inspections. Read the written remarks and damage diagram before treating any grade as equivalent.
Expect special equipment to move the price. Four-wheel drive, differential lock, air conditioning, dump bodies, lifts, refrigerated bodies, high-roof conversions and unusual equipment can pull a result away from the ordinary flatbed market. The tool identifies market context; a vehicle-specific inspection and quote still control the buying decision.
Sold price is not landed cost
Add Japan-side service, inland delivery, paperwork, inspection, storage, ocean freight, insurance, import duty or tax, port handling, compliance work, registration and local transport. Use Mirai Trading’s USA import guide to plan the destination side.
Understanding Japanese vehicle grades
Grade filters help reduce noise, but the report comments, damage map, interior rating and inspection evidence remain essential.
Grades S, 6 and 5
Very recent or lightly used vehicles. These results can carry a substantial premium and should not be used as the baseline for an older working truck.
Grades 4 and 4.5
Generally cleaner vehicles with limited defects. Verify any remarks, corrosion and repair evidence before assuming two grade-4 trucks are equivalent.
Grades 3 and 3.5
Common working-vehicle territory. Cosmetic wear and age-related issues are more likely, making inspection detail especially important.
Grades 1 and 2
Lower grades can indicate extensive wear, modifications, corrosion or other material concerns. The low price may be offset by repair and compliance costs.
Grades R and RA
Repair-history vehicles. The location, quality and extent of prior structural work must be understood before bidding or export planning.
Not graded or not stated
Do not infer condition from the absence of a grade. Request the complete report and independent evidence before making a price comparison.
Dataset method, scope and limitations
The page separates what the source files prove from the broader rolling-history workflow planned for future monthly updates.
What is included
Five sold-result export files dated July 28, 2026 were normalized into one dataset.
- 1,948 sold records
- Five kei-truck makes and 52 normalized chassis codes
- Sale date, model, chassis code, registration year, grade, odometer, transmission and sold price
- Japanese yen values recorded in the source results
What is excluded
The public dataset intentionally excludes venue identifiers and does not expose buyer, seller or lot-level identity.
- No venue name or identifier
- No buyer or seller identity
- No claim that the sold price is a landed or retail price
- No automatic condition conclusion from grade alone
How calculations work
Medians and percentile bands use the currently filtered records. The chart groups results by sale date, calculates each day’s median, then applies an adaptive trailing average: 7 days for short coverage, 14 days for medium coverage and 30 days when at least six months are loaded.
Monthly update rule
New sold results should be appended monthly, records older than 12 months should be retired, the static 25-row table and summaries should be regenerated, and the visible coverage dates must be checked against the actual files before the page is saved.
Kei truck auction price FAQs
Direct answers about sold-price scope, chart calculations and buying decisions.
Are these asking prices or sold prices?
They are recorded sold prices from completed Japanese vehicle sales, expressed in Japanese yen. They are not dealer asking prices, retail listings, landed costs, or export quotations.
Does the sold price include export fees and shipping?
No. The sold price is the vehicle result before Mirai Trading service charges, inland transport, document processing, storage, inspection, ocean freight, insurance, duty, tax, port handling, registration, or destination compliance costs.
Why can two trucks with the same chassis code sell for very different prices?
Chassis code alone does not establish condition or specification. Registration year, auction grade, odometer, transmission, four-wheel drive, body conversion, rust, repair history, equipment, color, inspection status, and buyer demand can materially change the result.
What does the moving-average line show?
The line averages daily median sold prices across a trailing time window. The tool uses a 7-day window for short datasets, 14 days for medium datasets, and 30 days when at least six months of dates are loaded.
Why does the chart use a typical-price band?
The shaded band runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile of the filtered prices. It shows the middle half of matching results, which is more resistant to unusually high or low sales than a simple minimum-to-maximum range.
How should I use auction grades?
Use grade as a screening signal, not a substitute for inspection. Read the condition report and damage diagram, verify corrosion and repairs, and request current photographs or video before bidding.
How current is the price data?
Mirai Trading refreshes the sold-price dataset monthly and intends to retain a rolling 12 months. The current loaded batch contains 1,948 records sold from June 30 through July 27, 2026.
Can Mirai Trading source a truck matching my filters?
Yes. Send Mirai Trading the make, chassis code, registration-year range, grade, odometer range, transmission, special equipment, and destination. The team can search current Japanese inventory and prepare a vehicle-specific estimate.

Verification performed for this dataset
All 79 PDF pages were rendered for layout review. Ruled table rows were extracted page by page, page counts reconciled to 1,948 records, Japanese era years were converted in descending source order, modified-chassis suffixes were normalized to the base code, venue columns were discarded, and every public price was retained in whole yen.
Want Mirai Trading to source the right kei truck?
